Dear all
It is a case of the horse and bolted but after my wife decided to take the car and baggage trailer (with bikes on top) through that 6' height Barrier limiter, I find that none of my insurance house or vehicle cover me for the comprehensive cost of replacing my beloved Erde 163 trailer and hard top. The cost of replacement (materials not my labour) is looking like about £800.
So the question I ask is, does anyone know of an appropriate insurance company that will cover my luggage trailer and contents, including accidental (sheer stupidity!) damage, whilst driving, as well as when the tent is errect and covering the usual like accidental damage (hmm, kids falling over and pulling down the sleeping compartment springs to mind).
Ever hopeful

Got our insurance through the C&CC Tent and kit was around £50 and so was the Trailer 5x4 ABS Lid 13" wheel jobby, although like most insurance it's based on current value, so in the event of total loss I would probably only get a fraction of it's value, although the RRP of my kit is around double what I paid for it, fact is I have already had two years use out of my kit, which was all new at the time, when I have had 5 years use out of the kit I will drop the insurance, as after that the payout would be less than my premium no doubt, and I would have had my money's worth out of the kit, at the end of the day a tent kit and trailer is worth peanuts in comparison to say a Caravan or Motorhome, so why waste money on useless insurance, just go camping and enjoy, what will be, will be.
