Hi I was putting up my tent the other day and realised that it had a ring of elastic, one on either side near the bottom in the centre of each area where the bedroom was to be fitted. Does anyone know what these are for?
Thanks

It is a Coleman Quadspace. Not sure how you upload a pic on here. The bedrooms have plastic bickles at the corners to attach it to the tent but nothing half way down the length.
I just need how to upload.
Kind regards
Matthew

you upload pic to photobucket or something similar ,
right click on copy image location,
then paste into the box here next to the smiley .
Its the one that looks like a postcard , with mountains (or a tree )on it.
Or upload into your profile image gallery .
click view profile,
then manage gallery images and you can upload straight from your computer without using photobucket .
Its just a pegging down loop to secure the tent to the ground . the more pegging points are used the less likely the tent is to blow away in strong winds and less draughts get inside the tent.
same applies to your other question, the strap is also a pegging down strap.
Obviously, you wouldnt need to peg it down during the day when you are using the doorway, but at night and when away from the tent you can peg it securely.
