Hi,

Near to the holes where I insert the poles to hold the canopy up there are 2 tapes around 20cm long anyone know what these are for?

Hi, I assume you are talking about a frame tent. The tapes are so used to tie the canvas to the frame.

Hi Christine,

The tent that I have is a Coleman Quadspace and when the canopy is down it forms the door to the 'porch' on the front and there are no poles there to attach the tapes to. They have little adjusters on them the same as the ones for tightening the whole tent on the frame. Just really odd. Would it be easier to post a pic on here? If so how do you as I am still a little new to this.

Hi,

I have now uploaded pics to profile. The first 2 show the tapes. The left side is the porch and the right side of the zip is the door/canopy.

Any ideas?

Its a pegging point , use it to close the tent up when you are off site and for extra security in high winds
