Looking for a bit of direction please. We have an Aspen 700 which we love but it is a bit past it's best now and has started to spring leaks so I am looking for a replacement but not sure where to start.
Really liked (almost) everything about the Aspen apart from pitching inner first but I could live with that again....
what does anyone else have that they would recommend?
Big enough for family of 4 to live comfortably,
Full height for walking around in including bedrooms
side by side bedrooms - not pods,
bug free!
Saw an Outwell Bear Lake while away this summer and liked the look of that but only saw it from the outside....
I would really appreciate some pointers - even if it is things to avoid
Cheers

Have a look at the Sunncamp range. We were new to camping this year and bought the sunncamp shadow 800 (after weeks of looking at various makes and models) and we love it. They do a 6 birth (600) . There is so much living space in both models we find it superb. Got ours from winfields and the carpet which makes such a diffrence.

we have had a number of tents over the years from different makes and out of them I would recommend the Bear Lake for a number of reasons.  The reasons we bought it was because we always kept going back to it when looking at tent shows, we loved the fact that it was polycotton (cooler in summer, warmer when cold), it has a large living area (managed to sit comfortably 7 adults and 5 children in it), the bedroom pods are a good size and you can stand up in them.  Since buying it we have noticed how stable it is when it is windy and it hardly makes any noise compared to the polyester tents, we love the fact that you can unzip the windows which allows a lovely cool breeze into the tent on warm days.  It is easy to erect despite it's size and weight.

I do feel though that we all have a tent that we would recommend so I do think it would be a good idea for you to visit a tent show to get an idea of what's available now.  Good luck in your search and hope you find your ideal tent

Hi,
we've just been looking at the Cloeman Mackenzie Cabin 6 as a replacement for our Diablo. Can be be had for about £340 online including an extension side awining.
Only problem is don't really "need" new tent cos Diablo's fine just fancy a change and something quicker to put up.
