So, its coming at long last...I have seen the light or at least a poly cotton Montana 6. Its so nice..Ok its not cheap, will be about the same price as the Bear lake 6 for 2011..Touching £1000.00 so buy your Bear lake 6 now if you are looking. Anyway back to the Montana Lake tent.. You will be able to buy a big open front extension which really adds to the whole tent. Overall I think if you had a Monty 6 and like the idea of the poly cotton and you are ok with the premium price then you have to go for it...

Yes but I would have to kill you..There are some new tents / designs etc but theres not much point talking about them until we have some images that we can use..
Lots of nice stuff but start getting used to the price increases from all the suppliers 15 - 25% and I know everyone is going to say "greedy shop owners" but if anyone knows a thing about exchange rates and how products are bought in dollars not pounds they should see why. Labour costs in China have gone up in the last 9 months by 100 - 200%. I wish I could get a pay raise of that much but I suppose the Chinese should get a good standard of living like the rest of the world..
Oh dear...Ive just gone on one of my rants again lol.
Getiing back to new stuff, I will leak a bit at a time as I dont want to upset Outwell etc.

Thanks Gary - so no polycotton awning then?
Devil's in the detail but am hoping that my Monty awning will fit the new Monty Lake. Think you have answered my major question - am a Monty owner and would like polycotton, nearly bought a BL6 several times in the last few months! Prefer the bedroom layout of the Monty as we are 2 adults & 2 kids ergo it has to be the new Monty Lake -are you taking pre orders now!?
So I guess the extension that fits this new tent will fit the same tents that we've been using the monty 6 attachments on. (ie, bear lake 6, norfolk lake....and many more?)
How exciting!!
Sue, The closest they did to the vermont L in polycotton was the Norfolk Lake, That's why we bought one, we have friends with the vermont and I loved the bedroom/living room/porch combination.
it sounds nice, but do people really change their tents every year or so and at £1,000 this is becoming a expensive hobby. I'll stick with my BL6 and Nevada M and lets see what kind of extentions are available for the BL6 in 2011 as i'm sure they are bringing out a polycotton extention. As Gary said if you can afford it buy the BL6 at end of season and save loads of money.
