Hi we had a first this year whilst at Salisbury CC&C site. The wardens thought the tent was too big! Especially as we use it with a utility tent (Pre booked!)
Anyone else had these sort of problems?

Unbelievable, we have a similiar set-up, and quote our req pitch size as 12m x 3.7m that includes the 370, PN20 Utility and 3.7m x 5m AeroTex groundsheet for the porch area, fact is the Biscaya 370 is the smallest tent in that range, with exception to the no longer produced 320, those wardens are crazy to say, it was to big, which utility tent are you using, a marque!.
Whats the footprint size? C&CC sites usually have a standard pitch size of 11m x 11m, and taking the 6m gap rule into account that means your tent footprint can't be bigger tham 8m x 5m.
I'm not sure how the 6m rule applies to utility tents but if your main tent is only barely within the max size or the combination of the two is awkwardly shaped then yes, I can see how you might have problems. But you can book an oversized pitch on many C&CC campsites now of course.

The 370 is approx 3.7m by about 7m (with sun canopy attached.) So that should fit within the standard pitch easily.
But you won't be able to use a utility tent with it and still leave the 3m gap all the way round the edge, will you? Perhaps that's what the problem was.
Hi akjohnson.
The 370 sure is a nice tent, we have the Cotton version, sadly no longer in production, and like us we have a VW Golf, due to the pack size of the 370, we added a 4x5 Trailer to our kit, and there is only the two of us!.
