Has anyone got one of these big boys? Vango Salina 600
I am quite interested in one but I can't find any reviews or anywhere that has one pitched.
I have found the videos on youtube where it shows you how to pitch one but I can't get a good enough "feel" for it.
Would really appreciate any help.

Hi,
We bought the Vango Salina 600 about 6 weeks ago from a camping show in Wokingham. We paid £550 for the tent + £30 for the foot print and £69 for the matching carpet. I was originally looking at the Amazon 600 and the Outwell Vermont but once I walked into the Salina we decided to buy due to how much cooler the poly cotton is. We are moving back to Australia so the temperature of the tent was a major factor in our purchasing decision.
We have a two young boys 4 and 1, there is plenty of room in all 3 bedrooms. I have just returned from our first adventure in the Vango and I can honestly say you will not get a better test than the weather we had for 6 nights in Devon. It was very windy and rainy all week but the tent did not move!! Our friends who were staying in a holiday park down the road who don’t camp have now changed their minds about camping since they checked our tent out.
Me and my wife put the tent up in 30 min and it took about the same time to pack it up with a 1 year old screaming in the background for moral support. The overall weight of the tent is very heavy but I don’t believe this is a downside, I would say all Polly cotton tents of this size would be the same weight. The only very slight negative I would say about the salina is I would like the porch to be slightly bigger but compared to having to buy a extra porch like on the outwell tents I will stick to the Salina with a portable Gazebo out the front.
Hope this helps!!
