We've a Nevis 600(Tigris with better material I think), had been using the second bed for storage but next time we are going to give kids the larger room with all the stuff stored in there and take the smaller bedroom for ourselves. We've added an extension to ours just to allow us to take the kitchen stuff out of the main tent but we've been happy with teh space we've had for 4 of us. Think Icarus design is less flexible and you will always have the beds at one end, we've always got option to only use the large bedroom only and take second inner down if we were desperate for more space but I think the tunnel extension means that isn't much of an issue now

Generally you should look for a 6-person tent for 4 people as they size bedrooms very tightly and for mats rather than airbeds that are bigger. Have you seen the Vango Columbia 600 from Vango's Premium tent range last year - steel poles, 5000HH, 2/3 bedrooms (1 can be used for storage or for separate bedrooms when the children want their own rooms), enclosed wet weather entrance for shoes, toilet, balls, etc...plus a load of other top features include the TBSII system and full or part opening front. Been discontinued this year but still a few around at about £280 (RRP £450 last year). We can get ours up and equipped in an hour now. Fab tent!

The Sungari 600 carpet and footprint will fit and the Sungari canopy too if you get a sage Columbia.

Anyway - worth a look!

Happy hunting!!!

BTW - we use a Vango Adventure Tarp over the front of ours with the tent porch poles and longer guy ropes so that you can cook out the front or enjoy the air in light rain or drizzle. Haven't bothered with a canopy. The tarp's elasticated side is about 39cm longer than the roof pole of the tent so shields the front (extends out 2m). We used it last week with the whole front open but if the weather is coming at a slant you can offset it and open just the right hand side of the front (either just the door or the door and the small section to the right which can be rolled up too and held in the loops at the top). We only pitch the tarp when needed. Mostly we don't! The fab thing with the Columbia is that you can open the whole front, have the table and chairs still on the carpet, within the shelter of the sides of the tent but with the stars above you. You don't have to move everything outside the tent to enjoy being outside unless you want to....
