The wife and I are looking for a new tent, she likes the Outwell Nevada L (which we seen up) and I like to look for the Coleman Mackenzie (seen sometimes with X( is this different?)) 6 Cabin Tent (which we have not seen up).
Admittedly the Coleman is more expensive but I've seen it for £300 which is £40 more than outwell.
Help please!!

Hello Shaynes.
I had a liking for the Coleman Waterfall 5.
Fortunately there was an opportunity to see one erected at a Camping Exhibition.
I did have 4 on my list, and was able to check them out.
I ended up getting an Outwell Virginia 5 as it ticked all the boxes.
i would go for the coleman cabin 6, higher spec and for 40 quid more you get steel poles making it a stronger tent. Try norwich camping they will have a good display up . Ring and see what they have up and what offers they have you may get a good package deal.

We have just bought a Nevada L and have just camped for thee nights in it. We like you, also looked at the Coleman Mackenzie, but decided against as I have Fibromyalgia and we were downsizing from the Dakota 6 because of the weight of the poles and tent.
We love the Nevada, but, I would say be careful with the bedroom pods, we found out that you can't fit to single air beds in the pod? Luckily there are only 4 of us, so we just used the other bedroom. Also the max width of a double air bed you can out in is 137cm. Apart from that we are utterly delighted with it, its so easy to pitch and take down, we also got the extension and found it invaluable. Had lots of nice comments about it on the site too.
As tentmad mentioned definately worth a call to Norwich Camping. I was there a couple of weeks back and they had the Mackenzie 6 on display (although there was a note to advise only 3 left). They also did have a Nevada up I cannot remember if the M or L.
I have used Norwich Camping for all of my kit and found them very helpful and willing to do a deal. They have an excellent range of everything camping and caravanning !!.
IF you live in Lowestoft its a must for the weekend
We got the Coleman from Norwich camping and leisure, they were very helpful & the wife cheekily got them to price match not only the the tent, but the foot print & carpet as well!
We've put it up today, wow its big, but very easy to put up.
