I used to use a Coleman Classic Awning on my Cadiz 5+2. It was a bit fiddly to adjust and it didn't look great but it worked fine as a shelter for the door and to cook undet. The trouble with the Cadiz is that it doesn't have a level ridge line, so most of the standard canopies just won't fit. The Coleman is pretty simple though...just a big shaped sheet of canvas plus a front hoop and some guylines. it does have the advantage of being inexpensive...Argos were selling them at the start of the year too, so there might be some reduced stock kicking around.

I've got a picture or two of the same canopy on my blog btw  set up on my Vango Oregon 800, which does have a level ridge line. It will give you an idea of the size at least. I might have some pictures somewhere of it on the Cadiz too...let me look.

If you do get one, a few more guylines and some Clingons wouldn't go amiss btw. Like all of these big canopies it's not really build for windy conditions and should be taken down in such.

I've noted on other reviews that the gap at the bottom of the door is big enough for animals to get in. Have you had any problems like that?

My hubby is thinking of adding some tarpaulin with eyelets that can hook onto the inside of the tent similar to a draught excuder. Might make it a bit more waterproof. Will let you knw how we get on.
