Can anyone tell me if the front windows to the Holham 6 have clear pvc windows to them as well as mesh and zip up curtains.
I saw this tent last year but can't remember. If the don't have pvc then surly if its windy then the only way to cut out the draught is to shut the inner zip up panels. Not very nice when you are confined to the tent in bad weather.I know the front canopy would keep rain off.

We have the Holkham 6 and have found it odd that there is no window in the front, but it has not caused us any problems. When we first had it we did take down the porch on a windy night.
We have now got the vestibule which does have a window in it but no mesh. What we don't like about it though is the door opens from the other side which means you have to leave a passage through between the two doors.
This is our first big tent and we love it. There are only the two of us, but it works for us. We have made some small changes to the design to improve it. But we wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Paul

We added another cable entry zip on the other side, which is now included on the 2010 model.
I have also purchased some magnets to hold the side door shut to stop draughts, as the zip for the door only goes down the sides and not across the bottom.
We are also looking for a small strip of PVC to cover up the 6 inch mesh above the side windows on cold days.
