Thanks Val, had missed your reply. Could it take inners? Overall would you buy it again and has anyone else bought one? Wonder what the matresses like? We want a 5m belltent but have a wedding to go to in Scotland in October, so verrrry tempted.

Yes I would buy it again - really pleased with it

No I wouldn't buy it though if I wanted a 5m - there is a lot of difference in space between the 2

The inner in the 5m has d rings round the top of the 'skirt' - I'm sure it wouldn't be a massive problem adapting a tent to have these - The top of the inner just hooks onto the top of the pole

Would have thought they were just standard air beds and bedding etc, if they had been home I would have probably had a nose at them!

If this was my 'main' bell tent I would go for a ZIG, rather than a separate ground sheet

Saying that the cost is nearly 3 times as much for the 5m zig, so it depends how much you want to pay out

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

We want a 5m for our main camp tent for longer stays but we have camp events where we go in a wee car pulling a trailer and these are only 2 day jobs, so 4 m would be ok for that. Hubby also wants the larger one for a party tent in garden :)

Have been looking at these tents on eBay too as collection can be arranged from near Northampton too. How many people could you comfortably sleep in a 4m? How warm are bell tents compared to modern tents with SIG?

hard for me to say as i didn't pitch it properly, but would guess at 2 adults, 2 kids max

4m will be easier to heat than the 5m, so fan heaters are fine
