Hi, I have a sunncamp manoir 6 berth frame tent. I can erect the frame fairly easily as its quite self explanatory but I can't get any instructions on how to fit the bedrooms, they look like you slide them on to the frame itself but thats a nightmare once the tent is up. Has any one got any ideas please, We go on saturday and want it to be as stress free as poss.

Well can't say for sure, but we have a sunncamp retreatand ours just push on the the pole when it is errect, you don;t need to slide it on the the poles from the end. Ours are plastic rings with gaps in them and you just push them on. Can't think how else to explain and not even sure you are talking about the same kind of fitting. No idea if this is of any help but good luck and happy camping.

I have still got my old frame tent bedroom, had a look on it and it has got loop hangers on corners and along the top, also ties down the back corner seams, so it just means looping elastic ties over the frame and hooking them on and tying to the back leg poles, then pegging the groundsheet down.   hope this makes sense to you.  In emergencies i have been known to use DD's hair bunjies?

Hi Mondo & welcome to the forum

The bedrooms on our frame tents have a rubber band attached to the hanging points by a tape loop. The rubber band is held on the bottom part of a metal 's' shaped hook, the top of the hook is just clipped onto the poles above the bedroom pod.

From what you've said in your post, I would imagine that the metal hooks are missing off yours. If this is so, and you haven't got time to purchase replacement hooks, just take some strong string, slip it through each of the loops & tie the bedroom pod onto the roof poles as an emergency solution.

Thanks, The s shape hooks that you mention jean make so much sense.  Thats now another job on my list before I go in the morning.

I can't wait to get the tent sorted then sit back with a cold glass of vino and watch the world go by.

Thanks again all
