We were looking for something a bit larger. We all like to have a bit of room in our pods after we have fitted in our beds. That's why we like the pendine.
Any more suggestions?

May be suggest to Kampa a polycotton version and see what their answer is as they seem to be in the polycotton market. They may already have something on the cards for next year - you never know.
May be Gary on the forum can help here as retailers get to know what's planned before the rest of us.

I'm not sure, but I think that may be about it on polycotton vis-a-vis tents. You don't like the look of something like the Kampa Polzeath then? It's polycotton ... tick ... it's massive ... tick
Don't some of the Kampa tents, even the Filey, have an optional bedroom pod that you suspend closer to the front of the tent. Depending on the number of children you could collapse/remove one of the rear pods and use the optional pod for the children or yourselves so you're not next to them. Alternatively use the middle bedroom at the back for storage, putting distance between you.
I have the Sunncamp Shadow PC - an eight berth polycotton vis a vis tunnel tent (we don't like sleeping next to the kids either!). One end has two separate bedrooms, the other has one big one with a dividing curtain if you want it. It's very similar in size to a lot of the polyester vis a vis tunnel tents. We use a kyham porch awning on ours too which fits fine.
We absolutely love this tent - and we've had quite a few over the years! It's never leaked, has stood up to high wind and driving rain, and in France it was a lovely cool place to be when the temperature was up in the mid thirties!
