hi when packing your tent away mainly for the winter do any of you put those sachets in to keep damp away not sure what they call them, you sometimes get them in new shoe boxes.

just make sure its dry on packing away and keep it somewhere dry over winter :-) an attic is ideal, we keep ours in the garage over summer when its not in use and then the attic in winter, hope that helps

Silica Gel, is the name you're looking for.

We've had our Coleman Modulus for a couple of years now and have kept the Silica Gel packets that came with it, in the tent bag.  Not sure if it makes any difference or not.

yeah ive got quite a few that ive kept from shoes and other things. think ill put a couple in the tent back cant do any harm really can it.......... hope not lol.
