Our Outwell arrived late this afternoon in 3 boxes We bought it as part of a package so it's come with the footprint and carpet and is our first tent.
Hubby and I plan to practise pitching it in the back garden once the weather has improved. It's rained almost non-stop for the past 2 days!
I'm really excited We need to buy a few other things before we can go away on our first trip such as inflatable beds and a little camping cooker, plus some LED lanterns.
Happy Days!

nice little pitching vid here from the GOoutdoors guys
I've logged on at work during my lunchbreak as I've not been able to get on some websites including this one for the past week at home Not sure what's going on but hopefully sorted soon?
We love our Outwell and pitched it in the back garden over the weekend. It took 2 attempts to get it right, but we got there. We slept in it on Sunday night and it was great. Though I was woken by the seagulls at dawn and then my chickens clucking to be let out at 7am
When we put the tent away it took just under 2 hours, but then we had to take down the bedrooms and fold up the carpet too (so glad we got that)

Just had a look at your Gallery Pics Garry, and you may have changed my mind over the extension...
I was pretty close to getting one, and then we decided it didn't look like you were gaining much from it as the front of the tent extends into it almost halfway, so we had decided the Alabama was a better option...... but looking at your pics (especially the front view) it looks quite accomodating and fairly usable.
Hi, we have both the TL4 and the front extension, but can anyone tell me what is the point of the tarp? What does it do that the extension and windscreen doesn't? Thanks
