Our Kampa Bude 4 has a zipped divider in the bedroom, which therefore has a bit of fabric with half the zip on the floor of the inner when its unzipped. We put a blanket over this and the floor of the inner if we want to place the bed over the zip. We turn the bed around on occasions for more living space as its a compact tent.
I can certainly say that our Kampa doesn't leak, but couldn't testify for the Fistral. Not that I've heard anything on this forum.
The curved poles will no doubt give you greater rounding at the edges of the tent. The poles are thick fibreglass with a PE coating, which makes them strong, but not as strong as steel poles. The metal ferrules are also substantial, which adds strength but it does make them more fiddly to feed down the pole sleeves until you have the knack. Once you've got that - i.e. a helper to open and smooth the pole sleeves as the other threads the poles - they're easy.
What you will find with the Fistral is that its flysheet being 100D is much thicker (33% approx) and will double or more the life of the tent under UV exposure and be more tear resistant than an Outwell polyester tent. The sleeptite inners with their reflective coating will also be darker and a bit cooler than others and there are many other top end features that make the Kampa Ultimate range worth considering.
