This happened to us last year with Yeomans. They gave us a credit for the difference.

In real terms it's cheaper for them to do this than give you a refund but it's still better than nothing.

Go for it.  If you dont ask you dont get.  Fingers crossed they say yes.  Let us know how you get on

My recent experiance with them!

I bought a Minisota 4 as its perfect tent for me the mrs and one child. I asked the sales lad about the extension and was told oh none in stock but more to come for sure. I then said why you selling the tent so cheap is it being discontinued? No I doubt it he says as its a good seller for them. Well as the tent is ideal for us and they were virtually giving it away we bought it. I then found out it is being discontinued and chances of getting an extension are as good as winning the lottery!

So for a day or so we pondered taking it back, ( had a email from the head office saying I would get a full refund) but we decided to keep it as its just what we needed. Now we will see if we can find a canopy or extension if not shall get a may be get a utility tent for the cooking gear.
