Hi there, during the high winds over the weekend, the awning on my Florida 6 collapsed and this has caused a small hole that looks like a pencil has been pushed through the fly sheet,i have looked in the outwell repair kit that came with the tent and there are some patches, but i think these will stand out on the tent, does anyone know whether tenacious tape could be used as a permanent repair as i dont think this would notice.many thanks simon.

A lot of people have had success using TT its probably worth ago my idea would be to cut a piece of patch fabric just slightly bigger than the hole and TT it to the fabric from the inside and then TT it again from the outside
Actually its not a couple of metres, its 20 inches by 3 inches wide. but in my experience , worth every penny.
I repaired a couple of holes in the roof where a pole snapped and its still watertight 2 years on .
I also used it on a ripped corner seam which was under a lot of stress because it was also a pegging point with great success.
