Hi Guys, I have got an old version of this tent, can't remember how old it is, cos my brother gave it to me well before my daughter was born, now 11 yrs. It is green and purple if that helps..I was wondering if I could still use it, as the colour has faded patches on one side but is not brittle or anything like that. It doesn't have a groundsheet but I am sure one can be cut to the footprint with a tarp? I am hankering to get on my knees again lol ! Any suggestions please campers :)

Just a note on that highlander, The purple and green khyams from that era have ripstop NYLON flysheets, and when it is noticeably faded, it is usually nearing the end of its life.
It may suddenly tear without warning, often when you are erecting it.
I know this from experience.
So take a roll of gaffa tape with you just in case !
Happy camping ! !
