Does anyone have any experience with using a wolf lake side extension on a Norfolk lake?

No but I am interested in the idea too.

If no one has tried it yet, I wonder if a wolf lake owner would lend their extension to a Norfolk Lake owner to test it and take some pics!

Not got the wolf lake side extension but this is the Bear lake extension on the Norfolk Lake, Just picture it over another section of the tent and you've got the bigger one. The WL ext is 1.10m wider than the BL - about 1 tent section. Also, where the bear lake ext narrows as it goes over the tent, the WL widens so it covers more of the roof and sides of the tent.

This was pitched on a slope so the bum is baggy (of the tent!!)

Was definitely needed last week......Made coming in and out of the tent a lot easier in the rain!

That looks a nice (if wet!) site, mumshadenough. Where was it, please?

It was Swiss farm international in Henley on Thames. Lovely site with bar and swimming pool.
Has big tent field and selective pitches too.
Cheap too (relative to others we tried)

Wow! thanks for all that MHE" bless you! the rational behind my wonderment is: some Norfolk lake side extensions have just become available (stuck in the back of some warehouse somewhere?)but a couple of wolfies are also available for the same price and they, obviously, cover a much bigger area.

I have the Norfolk Lake extension and we find it is just a little too small.

We end up only using it for shoes and a covered doorway.

But with the size of the Wolf lake one it might be possible to sit in it aswell??

Yes, I agree too - I was disappointed when I first put it up to see how small it was, not the kind of thing you could sit in to watch the rain with the family. So I haven't actually bothered taking it since. Shame really.

I think it would be ok if there was just a few of you. We had the 2 of us sat out in the evening when it was raining, warming our feet on the son of hibach, and we didnt get wet. (a bit snug for more than 2 people though) the depth of the BL side ext is 120cm, the WL one is 140cm.

If I were you I'd got for the WL ext any day! Where did you see them?

Emma x

I think Norfy side extension do well on Ebay, due to being discontinued. I wonder if it would be worth worth Ebaying our Norfy side extension and replacing it with a bigger Wolfy one?

We use the yukon river six extension on the front of our arrow lake - this would fit the norfolk lake. Pics are on the yukon river review page.  I read on here there may be a montana lake next year - if this has a front extension, this would fit (if same size as montana).
