Hi, i am seriously looking at purchasing a Outwell trout lake 4, can anyone tell me does the bedroom compartment zip in half so you can remove if you want more space.
Also any of you that own this tent can you tell me if it any good size wise for a family of three with a dog.
Thanks from a outwell fan x

The trioutlake 4 has one big innertent with a zip in wall so that you can create two inners. The Trout lake 4 is nog discontinued but is out of stock. They probably will be available in spring 2011.
Some websites said the Trout Lake was to be discontinued. In reality it was upgraded slightly. The 2010 model now has a little eyebrow porch over the side door. The original does not have this feature.
As for the bedroom - yes you can zip out the divider but it does leave a small piece of the divider (about 2-3")across the bottom of the inner, which means for example you could not fit a king sized airbed in.
Don't hesitate buying this tent - it is an absolute cracker.

Thankyou for your replys, it is on here ukcampsite in the reviews section that it says discontinued, have been looking on line at diffrent deals and there seems plenty of sites with them in stock, should i buy now or see if they come down a bit in price during the winter.
Great tent - and if there's just three of you and the dog, i'd say ample room.
There's four of us and it works just fine! Just wished the bedrooms were that little bit bigger... like the TL5 which I couldn't get!!
As others have said - the discontinued one is the 2009 model - so if you don't want the raincover over the door, then you may find a bargain somewhere - as for the 2010 model, if you can get it for under £549.00 then it would be a good price.
But you must get the carpet as well - oh so cosy!!

Most stockist will have run their stocks down by now, therefore you'd be lucky to pick one up. However do keep an eye on Preloved or Fleabay as you never know! These tents do hold their price very well so don't expect to pay less than £350 for one a few years old.
As I said, a super little tent. great quality and pretty easy (if not overly quick) to pitch. Steady as a rock in heavy (40mph gust) winds. Not a single drop of water despite heavy and constant rain for 14 hours or more.
Go get one!

it is being discontinued and the only difference is that the inners will have a front with a nice green striped print on it, rather than the normal grey front. (all 2011 models in the classic range will have that)
