Its true there are so many lovely canvas tents in Holland!
The more I look the more I want one, not sure OH is keen on a trip tho
Although I am shocked at the prices of De waards! do you have to buy all the bits like inners and that seperate?
For a De Waard you start with a basic tent.
Anything else is an extra
So you can have an inner or curtains to seperate the sleeping area into bedrooms eg.
Then there are side panels, canopies, mesh doors etc etc.
Not cheap tents but I have not seen anything to match the quality and attention to detail that you get with a DW.
The only tent that might match the quality (havent seen one close enough to ahve a good nosey and fumble lol) is a Karsten .
It is an investment. The tent will last a very long time and the resale value of it is always good.
DW say the value of the tent decreases by no more than 6% per year so you can always expect a good price if you decide to part with the tent.
