We have just returned from a week away in our Vango Amazon 600. First time we have used the tent and absolutely love it. Just one thing we found unusual and couldn't fix and would appreciate some advice; all sections of the tent, between the poles, were perfectly arched and taught that is except the back section which is over the bedroom areas which sagged somewhat resulting in the outer touching the inner tent and when raining obviously made the top of the bedrooms wet and stick to the outer. We tried moving pegs, poles, guys, re-tensioning (which I've never been certain about) and nothing helped. Slightly surprised there are no guys attached to the top of the back pole like they are on the canopy, instead they are just on the window vent's so pulled them harder only resulted in the vent material being pulled too tight. In the end we had to unbutton and unclip the whole top section of the bedroom inners to avoid them touching and this can't be right.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be a design fault? (maybe guys attached to top would have helped) or could we be doing something wrong when pitching? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds to me like the ground you were pitched on could have been slightly un-even, in the past weve had the same problem, i think you'll find if you use it again you wont have the same problem
Thanks dave1 we'll see how we get on next time. Thanks thebug, we just have two guys attached to the vent (one on each corner) and then two on the sides so total of four on the back, am I mssing something?

Ah yes, just seen the pic you attached, thanks, I think ours probably is the same as that on the vent. We did tension them quite tight but it still didn't help enough. Yours looks well shaped though so I don't understand it. Do you do much with the tension straps at the base where you peg them?
Not really - that was the first time that tent was pitched as well, i just pegged the back of the tent with the two pegs then got the tent up into shape, pegged the two guys on the porch to hold the tent up, pegged the rest of the flysheet to the floor (about 8 pegs) then pulled all the tensioners, last of all pegged the last of the guy lines.
