Hi im new to all this camping stuff , but i have just bought a xl galileo weather master .. it has never been used and is still in original packaging , ( it is the green one ) .. the ref no for the tent is 203334 .. when i read up on this tent it says its a 6 man , but the inner tent supplied with this one is a 4 man with ref no 293526 ..  when i google this tent it tells me that the inner tent is pre-fitted , so does that mean that the inner tent 4 man is an extra ,,, havent opened up the main tent as it is massive ..

can anyone help ... thanks ...

also does anyone know where i can get a carpet for a vango diablo 600 .. thanks

Hi and welcome .

I just looked it up in the tent review section (at the top of the page ) and it says there are 3 pre attached inners, and a 4 berth extra room available as an optional extra (different code number , but maybe this is because the green one was an older model and the newer one is grey ?

Here's the text:
This 6 person tent offers a ‘home from home’ experience thanks to the abundance of living and sleeping space. Refreshed for 2008, it has many exciting new features including the improved Airflo™ ventilation, Cool Air™ port, entrance mat and wings.

• Flysheet fabric: Polyester, 6 000 mm PU coated, taped seams
• Inner tent fabric: Polyester breathable and no-see-um mesh
• Inner room groundsheet: PE 110 g/m², welded
• Living area groundsheet: PE 140 g/m², welded, fully attached to flysheet
• Poles: Steel
• 3 pre-attached sleeping rooms
• Specific storage area
• Carry bag type: Carry bag on wheels
• Carry bag dimensions: 82 x 50 x 39 cm
• Headroom: 228 / 200 cm
• Includes Coleman® windshield to provide extra privacy and protection
• Cool Air™ port
•Entrance mat and wings
• 1 set of awning poles included
• Fourth inner room for 4 persons sold as an accessory (ref 203 974)

I don't think there was a specific carpet made to fit the diablo, not 100 per cent certain of that though.
Try here for something close to the dimensions of the living area. A cheaper alternative is the open weave breathable groundsheets in the camping bargain or factory seconds section, very soft and warm to walk on.

The XL is a 6 berth as standard; 3 pre-fitted (but removable) sleeping pods that will be in the tent now.

The "4 man" pod is indeed an optional extra that fits in the front end of the tent, but takes up a lot of your living area.

Can't believe you've found a new one of these as they haven't made them in quite a few years - and they were silver for the last few years. Also the extra sleeping pods were always rare even when the tent was current.

Excellent tents, solid as a rock. I mourn them, and would not hesitate in buying one again if I could when ours gives up the ghost.

thanks audsley & beefys mum for the advice , i got the phone number for coleman uk today and i phoned them and they have said the same as you both , so it looks like i got a bargain ( £150 for the lot ) , when i opened the inner liner i started thinking it was a mistake , wont be going camping till next year so it will be a long wait to see lol but then again should be fine as none of the tent or its fittings have been removed from its original packaging , but worth the risk at that price . lol just remembered and i got a nice new windbreaker with it ... thanks again for you kind help im now a happy camper ..
