You can buy seam sealer from any camping shop.

Helo barkd04, and welcome to UK Campsite.

Firstly, the sooner you get some Milton to deal with the mildew the better.

Secondly, replacing the tape with something like Tenacious Tape, and/or using seam sealant would assist in that area.

I suspect the seller was a 'Newbie' who tried tenting, but went during rainy spell, and did not know how to treat it after de-camping.

Don't give up hope, it may well be salvageable, it is a good tent.

A Google search will assist in you locating a local source.

Please let us know how you get on.

Kind regards James

In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.

Seam sealer will do it. Pitch the tent, cover all the seams well with seam sealer, then leave the tent pitched for 24 hours to give the sealer time to dry thoroughly, otherwise it can stick to other parts of the tent when you roll it up.

Seems odd that the tape has come off it. What did you clean it with?

I hope you got it cheap, personally I'd have rejected the tent if it had large amounts of mildew on it. Is it too late for you to do that?

I suspect seam sealer will work but I it'll be a huge job to do each seam properly, normally seam sealer is used over the tape to provide a second layer of protection.
