Earlier this yr I bought a Marehal Club 4, a small frame tent as in me gallery, for £275 off the UK distributor. The design of the tent was fine but I wern't that happy with the quality, the main prob was the mud skirt splitting away from the corners.
I used the tent in SW France for nearly 5wks Jul/Aug, it faded from dark blue to light blue but tbf it was waterproof.
As Marechal's HQ is on the route back between Paris & Dunkirk I stopped there on't way back & dumped the tent on't floor of their reception. They examined the tent & admitted the quailty was not up to standard. They promised to send me a 2011 model when in stock.
It duly arrived this week. The whole thing seems better quailty with better stitching on the skirt & better canvas, so I have a new tent & full marks to Marechal.
