Just bought this bad boy for next year at a great price. Any advice, hints or tips from current owners on puting the tent up would be appreciated. Mon the summer!!!!!!!!!

With it being a tunnel tent you shouldn't really have much trouble.
Just thread each set of pole and then insert into ring and pins. Then stand up,pull out and put on a couple of guys until positioned correctly, then finish guying and peg down.
If you find that way a bit heavy to lift, then just insert the front one, stand it up,put a guy on and then work back doing the same to each pole.

If you can I'd do a test pitch soon just to check it all out for missing bits/faults, etc.. Annoying, but probably a good idea.
Pitching tips? ... if there's going to be wind of any strength then pitching it bum to the wind really helps. We've got a Wolf Lake 5 which is a similar (ish) kind of shape, and doing it this way definitely makes a difference. If it really picks up then remove/stow the front canopy, and you'll be as right as rain.
Have fun .

Aw, nice tent! We seriously considered that one and the Ohio when we were looking but neither had quite the right sleeping pod configuration for our needs. I love the colours and the patterned fabrics. Hope you have many happy times in it.
hi it was a toss up between the arkansas 7 and vermont xl for me, the vermont xl package won through only due to the enclosed front,i love the colours of the arkansas. me and missus got out xl up in 25 mins tonight and thats first time! we put corner pegs in at the back, put in roof pole and then uprights, then pegged out corners at front but about a foot from full length to allow movement, put in front poles which now means the tent will stand on its own, now do the same with other poles from centre outwards, when all poles are on just pull poles out to correct position and peg, bobs your teapot i got my 2011 for £819 with carpet and footprint and thought i did well
