I like the idea, in fact I went to view the Karsten inflatable tents earliar this year at a campsite in Cheshire, I was impressed, but not with the £6k price tag, for a version to give similiar room to my Cotton Biscaya, although that only cost £699 brand new!. The Vango tents look good in the photos, but not for me as I am not a fan of Polyester for family tents, I would prefer to see them available in PolyCotton or better still heavy Cotton Canvas like the Karsten's. but at the end of the day, a simple metal pole, is going to be easiar to deal with should a fault occur, than a fault within a pressurised inflatable rubber tube me thinks.
