Hi just a quick question is there such thing as a "good quality and easy to use pop up tent for 3-5 people with enough room to at least stoop in if you are 6'4".

My brother wants a tent but hates putting them up!.....even our Icarus 500 and canopy ion a total time of 25 mins he was moaning.

Any help would be greatful

The only large poup tents are made by Quechua so thats your choice. large popup tents bring their own problems tho. Packed away they are a disc about a mtre wide & quite thick & heavy, so awkward to handle & fit in a small car with all yer other gear.

De-erecting is a knack, folding them requires a fair bit of force & if they are wet with condensation & you are de-erecting on wet grass you can get quite wet.

Certainly quicker than erecting a conventional tent but the larger ones are not quite as easy as the name 'popup' would suggest.

Kyham quick erect tents are worth a look as well.

drying them properly also really needs them to be openned up, while a pole tent's flysheet can just be draped somewhere...
