Has anyone heard of trigano bolero? I can't find a single review or even measurements but is on sale 84 in a camp shop near me. I'm thinking of using it for a weekender either that or maybe a Quechua base.

How much is it? It's not common to get one but I think the company is very well established, one of the older companies. Canvas domes are like hens teeth so if you can get one and you're happy with the price snap it up quick!

I had a trigano many years ago, was one of my first tents, only got used for weekends and stuff but I thought is was fantastic for what I required at the time. Not heard of them for ages, glad they are still around. Very trustworthy brand, if it isn't too expensive snap it up while you have the chance

Trigano is a good brand, and there are very few canvas dome tents on the market - Cabanon made one, but I think they discontinued it.

If you need a small dome for a weekender tent, the great thing about a canvas one is that you will get little or no condensation inside, unlike the modern synthetic tents. If you can afford it, go for it

My was the trigano pravilion, knew I'd remember eventually. Lasted for years, was a shame to get rid but needed to move up to a bigger tent.

Thanks for your replies. I'll have to go and have a look so when I said the shop was near me it's actually over the hills and faraway a day trip but do able. If I just knew how big it was but glad to hear they are a good company they are obviously getting rid of old stock so rather than the tent being rubbish. It's so weird not to find a single review...Especially on ucks.

a good place to look for Canvas is Obelink, they list small Canvas domes at sensible prices. Great service too

No not yet, we 've had vomiting bug. Tomorrow last day of sale though. It is pitch inner first which makes me pause to consider since nearly all my camping trips are very wet. But I think I need it for early season trip. I have a bell tent from obelink but I think we would freeze so inamorata torn between heating one or buying another. Bearing in mind we will have 13 children. Heating might be dangerous

If you are thinking of a wood burner to heat your bell I have seen folk use an old dog cage/crate as a fire guard around the stove

a CO monitor would also be essential
