hi guys, im really strugging to decide which tent to buy, just sold our vango diablo 900xp as the erecting time took too long and that me with her indoors would not be able to put it up on our own, me and my son used to do it, but he`s at that age where girls and cars come first so i dont think he will be coming camping with us anymore.

we want a tunnel tent, sort of sunncamp shadow 8 or gelert horizon 8, as these sort of tent seem easier to erect and give us the space wanted and the rooms if we take anyone camping.

your advice on either of these or any other recommendations would be great, our price range is between £200 - £250

cheers Haydn

we have the sunncamp Kansas 8 which is basically just a sunncamp shadow 8 renamed - exclusive to outdoor megastore. We paid £200 for this tent and its fab, plenty of room, easy to put up with just two people, I say two people Im not always the best help - I spend most of my time faffing with getting the other camping gear out of the car while OH puts tent up lol

Its roomy - I suffer with claustrophobia so I didnt want a small tent even though theres only two of us and a child.
There are 2 seperate bedroom pods on one side of the tent and one large one on the other side which can be two rooms - with a divider, we always keep it as one large bedroom though.

We have also just purchased the verano dl canopy to go with this tent (not used it yet tho)
take a look at my profile.. theres pics of my tent on there and also on the reviews

I can HIGHLY recommend the Khyam Ontario 8

Have a look at it here:
http://www.khyam.co.uk/detail.asp?p=373

Absoutley love ours - arcres of space but easy to erect. OH can do it by himself but with both of us it's much quicker and takes about 20-25 minutes.

You get a lot of excellent quality tent for your money and with your budget you could get the carpet or sun porch too!
