Hi Nige

On ebay at mo is a montana 6 pole repair kit ! dont know what in set but maybe the uprights are the same?? just thought it might save ya a few pennies

maybe just try local camping shops to see if they have any spares too

There are 2 whole pole sets for the Montana 6 on ebay at the moment (at little more than the cost of one complete pole), whether components of those would be any good....? You could ask Gary or another retailer with a good knowledge of the product.

No they're not, they are one set of U-shaped poles (two sides, one top), nothing more. I'd already looked at them, the advert is very misleading in my mind, especially the picture of the bag showing a whole pole set.

I'd be interested to know if the Monty 6 & 12 poles are interchangeable, as I do have a complete set of poles to sell (including porch) for a Monty 6.

That's a real shame and obviously trying to rake it in... 

Retailers often end up with either the flysheet box or pole set box left over from larger tents at the end of the season - having replaced part of a faulty tent or just having misplaced one. That's how we managed to get a second version of our Vango Columbia 600 - one retailer sold a complete pole set box on ebay and we managed to find another who had a lonely flysheet box (without poles). Shame these Montana poles weren't in the same league for you.
