I have found to my cost the designe flaw of the royal bordeaux 6zg. A bit of wind and the poles bent and broke. Some people are saying you can strengthen them, please can someone explain how this is done and where I can get the parts. I love the tent and want to keep it but  I would like a little piece of mind the next time I go away.

Thanks

Had the same problem ourselves, poles bent in wind. Updated last year to the royal cuban 6zg, this has thicker and stronger poles and we had no problem with it at all. You could try contacting the supplier you bought the tent from and ask them if they can get you spare poles. Think they must have realised they had a problem with the bordeaux because the cuban is basically the same tent.

Thanks for reply, I will go and get yet another set of poles. Maybe everyone who has had a problem with the royal bordeaux should get together and seek compensation? Seems like they just shrug of complaints from 1 person, maybe many voices will be heard?

Thanks for your help

steve
