Hello all!

I recently bought a Colorado 5 second hand from a "friend", although I was cub scout as a young girl my hubby had never camped before.

We love the tent but have found it difficult to get accessories!

My question is, can you only buy a footprint groundsheet that goes under the bedrooms and is there any extention kit that will the tent as the proper extention kit has now been discontinued.

Thank you in advance

xx

Hi,

We have one & love it.  We don't use a footprint ground sheet but bought a tarp roughly the right size & fold it back under & this has worked in all sorts of foul weather.

Our best purchase was an outwell sliding sheter, not an extension but works just as well.

I agree with Lynm we buy cheap tarpaulins of Ebay or B & Q they work well, Ebay seem to have more different sizes just remember it has to be slightly smaller than the tent size to stop water pooling

We use to have this tent and loved it.We had the front extension and Sue fitted an external mudwall around the sleeping area(see photo)which helped keep out the draught.
We use to use a piece of breathable groundsheet in the living area and use to put one of those cheap polythene dustsheets under the inners, then just throw it away when you leave the site.
