Was in Go Outdoors ( Newcastle ) this morning and they had 1 Bear Lake 6 in stock, i dont know where its came from as they had none before xmas.
But i think they are trying to sell it at this seasons price, they say its reduced from £1199 down to £949.

Is there not a difference between the two models then???? I should imagine a few places would do the same if people don't know what the differences are.

The difference in the 2010 - 2011 models is the inner bedrooms, on the new  models there are green stripes and on the old model they are just grey .

Hope this helps

Outwell tents are way to expensive this year anyway  Imo.

We got a one from Go Outdoors late August year. for £597.It was £647 but got £50 knocked off as there was one loop missing that the inner tent toggles clip to.Sue stitched one on in 10 minutes.

As posted above the difference in 2010/2011 models is the newer one has a green striped front to the inners. If the one they are selling is a 2010 model then they are trying it one,but if its a 2011 model then the price is the going rate for a 2011 model

Well that is absolutely shocking! Just a difference in colour to inners and the price is now £1000 as apposed to £500appx last year?!! Makes me livid, I certainly won't be owning an outwell, am not being ripped off!

With all the quality issues they have had aswell, I hope people start wising up and purchase elsewhere for a more reasonable price.

Exactly! I know prices have gone up across the board in the last few years, but Outwell are taking the p! With the larger 'Lake' tents priced between £900-£1300 we both know that there are plenty of other quality options at (and below!) that price point!
