Hi, once again I am calling for help on how to do something! This forum has never let me down as yet :)
I have inherited a 2 man Relum (unsure of model) A frame tent. So it is on my grass out the back. I have a photograph of how it goes, I have 3 legs, 2 either end and the one in the middle, and two that make the roof, attaching in the middle slotting over the centre leg. The canvas is in 3 sections, the sleeping end the other side which folds outwards so you can have a canopy and the other end bit.
What I need to know is do I do it this way round by doing the frame then the canvas, cause unlike my other sunncamp frame tent which is a 4 birth it wont stand up on its own. Should it be pegged down first? It doesn't have a built in ground sheet and as this is the first time I have put it up I am a bit confused and any advice would again be appreciated :)
------------- I love the sound of TENT NOISE!

Yeah I watched that but I'm not conviced that is the way. http://www.jacksons-camping.co.uk/relum/cotton1.htm
Its the same as the one in the bottom of the web page with the flap canopy.
I think....Peg down the inner tent, fit in the two legs and ridge pole for that section of tent (it should stand roughly on its own), pull over the canvas for the sleeping area of the tent and guy down the back upright (that will help it stay upright). Attach the porch ridge pole and insert the front leg under the canvas and guy out, then you can peg out and adjust guys properly.
Hope that makes sense.
