hi . to all thoose who have purchased a hi gear voyager6 . i emailed higear the makers and asked if they where going to make a porch or knew of one which would fit this tent .. they emailed me back and said they are making one and would be available from mid march end of march 2011 . i wondered if any one else had heard this . i really hope they do bring one out as this would make it a perfect tent .

This would be great news, as I have been trying to find something that would fit. I nearly got the nice guy in Go to take the porch of the zenobia and see if it would fit on the voyager, but i chickened out asking him.

I have read this on several forums ~ we are almost certain we are going to buy this tent and the porch will definatley 'seal the deal'

Okay so we bought the Voyager 6 today...but afraid some not so good news...the sales rep we spoke to said the manufacturers were looking at making a 'generic porch' (ie to fit all hi gear tents) however with the voyager being such a different set up it is unlikely this is going to work (apparently they have already tried a couple of options which havent worked so back to the drawing board!)

IF they manage to set something up for the voyager it would be great but due to manufacturing times etc it doesnt look like it will be this year

Hope this info is wrong but thought you might like to know the word on the grapevine.

Hi    just to let all voyager6 owners know that  in go out doors brochure today there is a porch for the voyager 6 . bit expensive i think at 129 pounds but at least they have made one

Seen the porch in the go outdoors catologue today :-D Gues the sales rep we spoke to didnt have all the info!

 

Good that they have a porch - will be intersting to see how it 'attches'...no info on the website yet....

i reckon it ataches to side door as if you look at the zenobie tent the porch is simular and they only have side doors

hi there is a porch for voyager 6 it is on the web site of go outdoors . and will be available from may . whilst we were at go out doors we tried the kalahari porch and it just fitted of the side door .

just been camping with our Voyager (love that tent)... we have bought a Vango Large Sun Canopy, and although it was put up a bit to quickly it DID fit and did a smashing job of keeping the door completely dry, even in full pelting rain. Very happy with our purchase... we bought THIS in the lead/marine option which looked fine tbh

 hi we have brouht a vango porch found it on ebay 24 pound including postage and only took a day to come said it wil fit voyager 6 we are going camping this weekend so hopefully try it out but not sure if our pitch is big enough to put a porch on but wil keep you up dated

The porch for Voyager 6 is available on Go Outdoors website today - also in some stores.   Think they were planning to roll out across UK, but with sale on - not sure how far will get.
