Im sure it will rocket at the last minute but you never know, being one of the first on Ebay, that I have seen, the listing may not have been picked up by too many people ?
Never know someone may get a bargain

It does seem a strange thing to do, but on the other hand I am convinced that the bidding gets increased by the listing person through other accounts to ensure they dont sell at a loss once initial interest has been generated in a non reserve auction Oooh shouldn't really say that .... no everyone on ebay are upstanding honest people I am sure
Hmmm, yes but they would still be taking a risk. If for example they bidded the tent up too much and ended up winning the auction themselves, they would have to pay eBay 10% and won't have sold the tent. So it could cost them £100 + for nothing. If this goes over £900 I wouldn't touch it. I'd rather pay the extra and get the tent from a reputable store such as Yeomans in case the tent was faulty. (Not that unlikely). I bought a Wolf Lake 5 last year from Yeomans and after 3-4 uses one of the seams started to come apart. Yeomans gave me a full refund with no fuss at all, and it was a few months old. Then bought a TT
If he's not a shop, then it's a strange advert any way. Nothing but the manufacturers blurb. I would at least state why I am selling several brand new tents. A reason such as, bought on line, but when delivered I found it would not fit in my Ruck Sack.
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
Actually having gone back and had another look after Raf48's post, I would be very cautious about the listing seeing that they only have 5 feed backs listed
All a little bit odd or is it just me being over cautious ?

No, I don't think you're being over cautious. It is odd!

Yes, just seen this. was initially a little peeved as we have just stuck down a dep. at camping world for a collection of the clear lake on the 26th March. However, I concur with the other posters.... the person listing this whilst maybe very honest, would have me nervous on account he/she has only 5 lots of feedback listed. I am always on the look out for a bargain, I am just not entirely sure I would be happy to take the risk. It is also paypal only.....
The tent is a lot of money (we have just paid £1200), as I say a bit of a gamble :-)
I am of course watching it as I am desp. to see what it eventually goes for!
Incidentally I did take some piccies of the clear lake on Sunday, just having problems getting them onto this site. Will have to re-read the instructions again, whilst not necking a bottle of sav. blanc....
BTW current bid is £665.71 with 5hrs and 50 to go..
