Hi All
i have not posted on here a lot,
I am thinking of buying the vango samara 600 after seeing one on disply but beacause they are new cant find any reviews, has any one seen one and what do you think about them.
we have two old tents a cadiz 5 and suncamp xl we go camping with friends and was thinking they could have the cadiz to sleep in and if we got the camara the living room would be big enough to live in if its wet ? with a canopy or the use of a day tent or shelter.
thanks for reading
colin

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
The Samara has evolved from the Sungari (and the steel poled higher spec Columbia), but is now shorter in living space as the sloped front is now effectively a porch with an upright front and double window and door arrangement. I actually preferred the wind shedding design of the Sungari and Columbia and the option to part or fully open the whole front, but otherwise the new Samara is very similar so you could take a look at the reviews of the Sungari 600... Note that the size of the bedrooms has also changed, along with higher HH, darkened inner tents etc.
NB. Those for the Columbia would be different as it has steel poles, 5000HH and an enclosed side porch.

I stil havent received the tent yet. waiting patiently.
I ordered it through quidco from Outdoor megastore. It was £420 for the tent and carpet, so I got a 10% discount through quidco so it cost £378,
There are no camping outlets near where Ilive so I bought it based entirely from the reviews of the Sungari and the columbia .
Its my first tent. but i did read loads of reviews and articles before purchasing, but only time will tell if I have made the right decision.
I live about 20 miles from outdoor megastore and was in there 2 weeks ago i was looking for a coleman cabin 6 but they had none on disply but had loads of others and were adding more tents, i seen the vango samara 600 in another store not far from us and it a very good looking tent i am not very good at making my mind up so will be back looking at stans displys, we are lucky to have a few camp shops within about 30 miles from us
