Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of getting the Pendine 8. It seems to be the best vis a vis type tent in its price range however I have one small problem.

The tent will be used for 4 adults and the tent comes with 1 large bedroom and 2 smaller ones. We have coleman double airbeds and am thinking that we might be struggling to get that in comefortably and have room to move in the pod.

does anyoen know if its likely I can get another larger room with the tent? If not then how am I likely to fare with the beds that I have and still have room in there?

Hi
It depends on the airbeds but most doubles are between 135 and 140 wide. Each bedroom area on the pendine is 145cm wide.
You wont get a replacement large bedroom.

I have one and all the bedroom can get a double airbed no problems with a little space on the side for a rugsack

I wish people would stop presenting me with options I hadn't considered. There was I thinking I'd made my mind up and now I've got this to consider!

Where's the best price for the Kampa Pendine 8. Can you get any deals that include the extension?

The cheapest I've found it is for £300 and a further £100 for the canope.

In the end went for the Sunncamp Kansas 8 (upgraded Sunncamp Shadow 800) exclusive to Outdoor Megastore.

With the OM loyalty card the tent plus Verano DL extension (fully enclosed extension rather than an open sided canopy) cost £289 but will get £29 cashback having purchased via Quidco.

Lilly72, how do you find you kampa tent, does it suffer with condensation at all? We have an outwell iowa L (6 berth vis-a-vis) & after our first weekend away it went mouldy due to condensation problems...vents are rubbish on the outwell.
