Had pretty well made my mind up on the Outdoor Megastore exclusive Sunncamp Kansas (basically the Shadow 800 with better HH flysheet) complete with Sunncamp Verano DL extension.
Now I'm looking at Wynnster Montpellier 8 which is only a tiny bit smaller, same 3000HH flysheet and because it's being flogged cheap by Somerset Camping and JR Leisure at just £150 could offer more bangs per buck. As Somerset Camping are about a 35 minute drive I could hopefully go and see one in the flesh tomorrow.
I'm assuming that because Wynnster are made by Khyam and Khyam have or are being bought out, this is another one of those flog the last stock cheap deals.
Even if I went for the Wynnster I would probably still get the Verano extension as I believe it would still be a good fit.
My bessie mate has just purchased the Wynnster Motpellier 8 with the canopy & footprint from JR Leisure. She ordered Thursday moring & it arrived on Friday.
She hasn't had a chance to put it up yet but it does seem like she got a lot for her money. Had a peek into the bags & it looks a nice colour too. She was debating over the Gelert Horizon or this one but went for this because of the excellent price.
Had a good nosy round this and a number of other Wynnsters and Khyams at Somerset Camping.
It certainly is a lot of tent for the money (£149).
However, on balance I think I'm going to stick with my original plan and go for the Sunncamp Kansas 8 (Shadow 800) from Outdoor Megastore. Has a slightly larger footprint giving a bigger living area and slightly larger bedrooms and headroom the is another 5cm taller.
