Here are some pics of the new Vango Samara 600 which we managed to pitch for the first time on Saturday. It took us just under an hour, not too bad for a first attempt, I'm sure we will get better!!  I added this post on Saturday evening but it now seems to have disappeared?????  Can't wait to use it properly for the first time hopefully in the next few weeks.

Like I say this was just our first attempt so excuse the blue tarp sticking out underneath we do actually have the vango footprint for it.

Thanks Gilroy67 for the great pics, my tent arrived a couple of days ago and I was going to put it up this weekend but broke my arm on Sunday evening.

 Put the tent up in the attic last night without getting to see it up. 

Im hoping i will be back in action for my first outing at easter, but its great to see some pics.

Magscon so sorry to hear about your arm what a bummer. Hope it's not too painful and that you will be back on the road to recovery soon for your easter trip.

I was thinking of buying the enclosed porch for the tent but I don't know what it would make the overall length of the tent. I have emailed Vango about it (3 days ago) and still waiting!!!! I know there will be an overlap of some sort thats why I'm not sure about the size but I can't book anywhere as I can't give them correct sizes.

I loved my Vango, they are really good tents and this one looks lovely.  I bet you can't wait to use it!

Thanks for the comment and yes we cannot wait to use it. We are booked for 2 weeks in July but trying to get something organised for before then to give it a good trial run. Myself and kids are fairly new to camping but hubby used to camp all the time when younger, so he is delighted that we are all now onboard the whole camping thing with him

I must admit it's not something I thought I would enjoy but I'm seriously hooked!!!
