Hello, I have bought a second hand Outwell Indiana 8 and was wondering if anyone has tried using a different front extension on this tent with any luck ?
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Hi we have an indy 6 and had the same problem. Looked for ages but couldn't find anything. Someone suggested that the outwell fantasy range is the same colour you might try them.
In the end we bought a day tent and use that. We actually got a Khyam which is doubley good as we can sleep in it (you can get bedroom inner tents for it) on our stop over nights in france
prefered your old avy, love space to be honest. No we didn't get a groundsheet but should probably. I'm thinking of modifying mine a bit Have you tried yours out yet
I have not tried the tent out yet as I only bought it on Wednesday but have a couple of camping trips lined up so we will test pitch in the garden. I am looking at getting a footprint or groundseet..... whats the big deal on tent pegs ?
Just checking was there a proper ground sheet (thick grey which buttons into the tent) when you bought it, or were you talking about a groundsheet protector (footprint) which goes under the groundsheet.
The peg was just a bit of fun, check out the delta thread everyone is arguing over them
Hiya, Indy 8 was our first tent and I loved it! You will need a footprint to go under the bedrooms as these are designed to go straight onto the ground. We got a basic tarp from a diy shop that fit the whole floorspace. Regarding the open sides to the canopy, we got a bit of polyester and created a couple of panels to tie on in bad weather.
Hope you love the tent, it was a brilliant starter tent for us, and will always remember it with fondness.
Enjoy your camping in her.
