Thanks Geoff I would like to look at those too, although I think they may be out of our price range.

Sue, we are going to Holland anyway and they are definitely working out cheaper there, plus I would like to see one up and perhaps look at some of the pyramid tents, so we don't have much to lose really! Looking forward to it, although wish we had a tent for this weekend as looks like it's going to be a lovely weekend

We went to Obelink last year and it is amazing, would def recommend a trip there, but make sure you have plenty of time - its huuuuuuuuge!

Be warned though, they have many beautiful tents! We went for a bell tent and nearly came out with something completely different! Luckily we reminded ourselves that the reason we wanted a BT was its ease and speed it which to errect it! Take a look at the emporer though (can;t remember what they call it over there, its 6m by 4m and is a thing of beauty!)

The inner tent is fab and doesn;t ruin the look or feel of the tent at all, however it is one big room, I suppose you could divide it somehow, my husband is looking at doing just that.

sunvalleysue, I think the reasons for not going with the UK companies is the added cost. I also know someone who bought from belltent recently and had a hell of a time with their customer service re delivery, lets just say I was going to order something from them but will now not bother.

I have a sahara 400 Bell Tent which I got from Obelink. They delivered it to me in Ireland but they don't deliver to the UK. The postage to Ireland was only about 25 euro so rochford6 I don't think the reason they don't deliver to the UK is the excessive cost.
My tent is great, I'm pretty sure it's the same one as belltent.co.uk sells which might be the reason they don't deliver to the UK. I'd recommend Obelink though, their online service and delivery were great. I'd love to go see their actual shop though I'm sure my wallet is glad I haven't been there.
