When you fit the vestibule there is not enough room inside for the guys to hold the front of the canopy taut, one solution is to use a pole/poles from the canopy to the second tent pole another is to use extra guys attached to canopy pole on the ouside with pole clips. No extra width is gained only a bit of extra length

------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Hi
From memory you gain around 90cm although never measured it at the floor but then loose some due to the sloping front only used our vestibule once as prefer the open front. The 6 is plenty big enough for 4 people only real benefit of the 8 is if you need an extra bedroom.

trying to figure out if we will have room for the kitchen and our table with two adults and a high chair without being too cramped.
Hi there only just seen this resurrected thread.
There is plenty of room in the vestibule / porch. We had the kitchen, beer crate, fridge, 2 chairs plus the large PoppyDog in ours.
------------- Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.
How convenient a post!! i was just about to ask you helpful people on here if you had any news or pics of the Vestibule as i have been looking at a Kampa Croyde 6! Many thanks to Poppy.dog as i think you have now convinced the OH and myself to purchase one!!
