Are these two identical or is there a difference?

If they are the same quality then I am happy as there are some deals on one over the other

They were both owned by the same company at one point so that's why they are very similar (probably)

so as they are the same company and the two versions of the tent share the same dimensions do we think they are the same with different branding
or do Wynnster and Khyam use different materials?

The wynnster was brought out last year, and I've just read somewhere because of it's success Khyam, the sister company to Wynnster, brought the Faro out this year with it's super duper quality flysheet.  Don't know all the techie jargon, I always go by HH and the kyhams is better.

I've been researching the same thing and opted for the Khyam with porch for weekends, because I like the colour.

Only issue I have just noticed is these don't have sewn in groundsheets - photos on www.planet-outdoor.eu.com

Seems there is a trend at Khyam to put in a groundsheet attached to the bedrooms but not the side walls of the fly e.g. tourer 400

Looks like Winnipeg it is then (or Montpellier 4)

Ah UPDATE

Just seen on Somerset camping that the Khyam version for 2011 claims a fully sewn in groundsheet!

Personally I prefer a tent without a SIG.

We bought a Wynnster Faro 5 last year from Somerset Camping and the groundsheet is sewn in, think the only difference to other tents we've had with SIG is that it can be unclipped at both doors to lay it flat to prevent tripping
