We bought our Skandika Daytona XXL tent from eBay, but failed miserably to get it put up last weekend.

As mentioned by others, the Skandika range comes with useless 3 stage pictorial info that is NO help at all.
We watched the video on Youtube of another tent in the range, but to no avail.

    Has anyone got any ideas?
    Have you put one of these up?
    Any links etc. would be very gratefully received.

Did you do a search on Skandika tents? Maybe you can return it.

I second what Victoria1 said, Skandika do not have the best of reputations, had one pitched next to us last year and to cut a long story short it ended up getting thrown in the bin, poor family spent half the night sitting up trying to stop the roof collapsing in on them.

We have tried - unsuccessfully. And there is a strap missing from one of the internal rooms. Can anyone recommend a GOOD large family tent (with 3 separate rooms preferably) that is EASY for 2 people to put up?

I can- the Gelert Horizon 8, see my post and pics about it (I'll do a link in a mo) It's huge! It's our first tent and it took us about an hour putting it up for the first time the other day, so I would imagine with practice we'll be able to get that down to 40 mins or even less :)

I've just replied to you on my thread - but in a nutshell - it was a doddle, much easier than the much smaller Outwell tent we borrowed last summer as it didn't need 'walking out' if you know what I mean
