Going camping this summer and my parents have decided to come with us and give it a try . I'm amazed that my mum has deciced to do this, it was about 20 years ago when she last went camping and she does like her luxuries.
Anyway I'm trying to find them a smallish tent with one bedroom and small living space for around £100-£130. They don't want to spend too much incase they don't like it. My mum would like to be able to stand up in the tent so i'm looking for one with a bit of height.
So far I've found a sunncamp kuro 500 (£100), Vango Green Wing 500 (£130) and a Coleman Coastline 4 Deluxe with free camping gaz stove (£129).
I'm not sure which one is the best value and I'm dreadfull at making decisions so was after some help in choosing.
Thanks

Obviously, if you didn't already have a GO card it would be an extra to buy that.
Supposedly the offer finishes on Sunday, which means they'll probably put the price back up, only to discount it again in a few weeks. But I think £70 is probably about their best price on this now, since the VAT rise.
Vango Kairos 300 or 400? We are very impressed with our Kairos 400 (with compact airbeds) for 3, sufficient room for hiding from the weather, SOOOOO easy to pitch and yet stable in weather due to its steel pole tied arch setup. 2 doors, nice ventilation....
You can pick up one if you shop around for about £110 or even a package deal for about £20 quid more...
Anyway an option for you...
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
I just got one of these delivered today, only ordered it yesterday, and I have seen them a bit cheaper elsewhere. There's also the Wynnster Faro 5 which is pretty much the same for a lot less.
ok, a bit 'left field' but what about Hypercamp Djakarta - if you dont fall in love with camping in one of those you have no soul. Should hold its value a lot better than a plastic tent too if you do decide to sell it on
Obelink dont sho any stock this season yet, but their website might not be up to date
I would whole heartedly recommend (if you can still get one at last years sale price that is) the Outwell Carolina S
We bought one at the end of last year and think it's great, It has loads of room for 2, A nice stand up (i'm 6'4") living area and is REALLY stable, Has loads of windows and ventilation (which is a must IMO) and some really nice quality touches... It's probably the easiest tent I have ever pitched too...
Just my two-penny worth

My vote goes to the Vango Icarus still plenty of 2010 models about at reduced prices
