We are going camping in Dorset in July with Friends and I would like to get a reasonably priced 2/3man tent for our boys (11,10,8 yrs).  I want to pitch it next to our TT.  I am not sure what to go for, as there are quite a few tents on the market.  Can anyone give me some suggestions please?

Hi

Not sure if standing height is important - if not you could try a Vango Beta 450. Great little tent, very easy to pitch, light and a good size bedroom. Here is the spec for the 2011 model - if you look around you can get a 2010 model for about £90. Hope that helps

Another suggestion would be the Atakama 5 which is currently on offer in Go-Outdoors just now. RRP £170 but selling at £70 just now. We bought one a few months ago for festival camping and only paid £50 for it. I dont think its worth the RRP but if it can be picked up at the offer price then its a big . Very easy to pitch and bags of room inside for your three kids.
